About the Developers : BMG Middle East Development LLC
BMG is an international German contractor based in Berlin who has delivered more than €4 billion in projects. About the Architects:  
The Cube is designed by the internationally renowned German architect firm, Bothe Richter Teherani. [BRT Engineering GmbH] is based in Hamburg, and has styled some of the world's most prestigious residential and office projects. BRT is noted for its architectural concepts and innovative product designs.
The local consultants are a reputable firm, Shankland Cox Limited and have been doing business for more than 30 years in the U.A.E.

Personal Usage:
 
The Apartment owner has 30 days of use per calendar year and no use is permitted during the black out dates. Black out dates will be notified by the management company and generally apply in respect of festivals, sports event and conference timings. Additional room nights may be rented by the apartment owner for 50% of rack rates subject to availability.
 
Project Finance:
 
At present Dubai Sports City is Lease Hold, which will be converted to Freehold as the government converts projects on a case by case basis under the new property law that was passed in March 2006.
Dubai Property Law No.7 2006 has set out the basic legal foundations to match the progressive and increasingly dynamic property market in Dubai.
For foreign property investors, we now just await the Ruler’s approval of designated areas in Dubai where they are entitled to own property and then they can seek registration of their property titles at the Dubai Land Department, the basic conversion of leasehold to Freehold.
We currently await the conversion of Dubailand to Freehold that will include Dubai Sports City and developments within it such as The Cube
At this stage there is no bank finance available for leasehold projects in Dubai however, freehold project are financed through local and international banks.
